Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Technology Manager - Large Programmes - Informatics. The role is responsible for leadership and management of all aspects of the programme or work packages including delivery, technical oversight and stake holder management.

The purpose of the Technology Manager - Informatics role is to provide leadership of the larger Digital programmes, in support of our customer‘s industrial demand to transform manufacturing processes through digital technologies involving the adoption of industrial digital technologies, to meet the strategical and commercially requirements inclusive of:
Technical leadership on projects, with particular focus on producing state-of-the-art demonstrations involving industrial digital technologies - AI, data analytics, industrial interoperability, extended reality (augmented and mixed reality), systems integration;
Have a strong reputation for understanding of the breadth of Digital Engineering technologies and their respective manufacturing industrial application;
Securing funding for capability / new value proposition development;
Development of the overall strategy of the Manufacturing Informatics Department.
The ideal candidate for the role of Technology Manager - Large Programmes - Informatics would have/be:
A degree-calibre engineer, technologist, scientist or mathematician.
A range of management and leadership skills along with knowledge and experience relating directly to the delivery of this management role. You will use this to lead the activities you are responsible for and to contribute to broader debates on the tactical direction of the business.
A strong reputation for understanding of the breadth of Digital Engineering technologies and their respective manufacturing industrial application;
An understanding / appreciation of the challenges in the adoption of digital technologies, e.g. AI, analytics, industrial communications, software development, cybersecurity and systems, virtual factory, data driven augmentation of inspection, enterprise architectures in a manufacturing business and how they will drive advances in manufacturing and resultant return on investment;
Technical leadership on projects, with focus on producing state-of-the-art demonstrations involving industrial digital technologies - AI, data analytics, industrial interoperability, extended reality (augmented and mixed reality), systems integration, virtual factory concepts or data driven inspection;
