Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit the MTC has a unique opportunity for a Interim Finance Manager. The position will play a key role in the activities of the Finance team, as directed by the Finance Director, with responsibilities to include; financial data analysis, forecasting and budgeting preparation, system control improvements and reporting of business sector performance.

The Interim Finance Manager duties and responsibilities will be:
Managing the overall process for annual budgets, and regular forecasting of the industrial project sectors within MTC.
Overhead cost control investigations and reporting.
Identifying system development improvements, and working with Business Systems team, alongside the wider business, to implement.
Assist with Monthly Management reporting for the industrial sectors
Working closely with Sector Sales Teams and Business Development to understand project margins, and the related accounting.
Ensure accurate project accounting and income recognition
Working with finance team and wider business to implement continuous improvement actions and projects where necessary.
Key deliverables include:
Produce monthly financial performance reports for the industrial project side of the business
Re-forecasting of project income and costs
Owning financials for several large project programs
The role will work will work closely with the sector sales team and business development colleagues from across the business community.
The successful candidate for Interim Finance Manager will be/have:
A self-motivated, self-starter who has excellent communication skills and is highly effective at working as part of a team, or autonomously.
Able to demonstrate they can supervise team members.
Management Reporting and analysis skills
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong PowerPoint skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
