A manufacturer of complex fabricated assemblies supplied to the nuclear and defence sectors has a new vacancy for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. With a focus on continuous and process improvement, you will be responsible for the development of a proactive improvement culture, driving consistency of product quality and candidates are sought with fabrication experience.

Working for a global manufacturer of complex fabricated products, you will lead, develop and implement quality manufacturing improvement programmes and you will be responsible for delivering a customer focused, operational improvement culture throughout the business.
Develop and implement manufacturing improvement projects across the business
Implement a customer focused, operational improvement culture delivering world class customer service levels.
Coordinate activities to optimise cost performance of the plant through capital investment programmes, optimising operating standards and minimising waste through the development of a continuous improvement culture encompassing lean principles.
Provide design for manufacturing input at early stages in the new product development process, Support project management in cross functional activity required for project execution.
An experienced Manufacturing Engineer, candidates are sought with experience working in a complex fabrication manufacturing and will be a qualified engineer. With a right first time attitude you will have a strong focus on continuous improvement and developing new process methods and experience with jog & fixture development is advantageous but not essential
