Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit the MTC has a unique opportunity for a Operational Project Manager. The role will Project manage the transformation of Group services. This will include: Space allocation meeting, Equipment utilisation, Equipment disposal, Group services, Risk reviews and more.

The Role    

 

The Operational Project Manager role will support the MTC‘s ongoing operational transformation working into the ’Programmes‘ Function but acting as a catalyst for operational change across a number of MTC‘s operational, support and resource Departments. This will include defining/improving, proving and embedding operational activities, change management discipline and behaviours to support the leadership of the Group services Committee. The role will include shaping, implementing and driving greater focus on the reporting / review framework of our Key Performance Metrics to ensure optimum operational performance. This will require significant leadership in shaping activities as we move forward. Working towards a drumbeat of operational activities and reviews designed to ensure budget and target adherence and address issues as they arise. A shaping role will be required in the following forums: Group Services meetings Space Allocation meetings Equipment Utilization meetings Equipment Disposal reviews Quality reviews Business Risk reviews. In addition to this defining, understanding, collection and collation of Operational Performance Indicators, however clear accountability into specific parts of the business will be maintained. During the course of this project the successful candidate will operate as Operations Manager for the Group Services Committee.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop Operation KPIs, help define, shape and maintain Group Services activity and drum beat.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to tools and processes.

  • Identify opportunities for maintaining and updating performance standards

 

 

The Person

 

The successful candidate for the role of Operational Project Manager will have/be:

Articulate and able to effectively communicate at all levels of the business using clear and concise communication, given in a timely manner to key stakeholders, ensuring they are briefed on any mission critical issues and remedial plans are fully agreed.

Delivery focused and shaper task driven

Have operational knowledge, be organised, structured with broad communication skills
