This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery and shaping of our Net Zero Carbon verification product. At a time where industry is looking for the science, data, and truth to pave the way to Net Zero, this role looks to deliver real value and impact to the built environment and real estate sectors.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, our subject matter experts and digital teams to finalise and bring product concepts to life. They will also oversee our BIM and BREEAM Data Centres products, looking to set, agree and action the roadmaps ensure that they are fit for purpose, profitable, support the organisation strategy and do not create exposure to unnecessary risk.
The Product Manager will be the evangelist for these products and build excitement by clearly communicating benefits and the product vision, supporting sales, marketing and internal teams to be aligned and understand why the product is important to BRE`s success.
The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including evaluating the market opportunities and threats, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and strategy and formulating and gaining approval for the product roadmap.
How will success be measured in the role of Product Manager?
-Sustainable growth in revenue from the sale of the Products managed.
-Continuous improvement in profitability for the Products managed.
-Alignment with the Integrated Product Management Team gateways for product strategy, new release and continuous improvement.
-Manage client engagement and feedback about the product through regular customer events and direct interaction with key influencers.
-Regular communication with internal teams responsible for outbound communication so that they understand and can explain the current development roadmap and release schedule (Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Sales).
The Product Manager will possess good understanding of International Net Zero Carbon built environment including real estate, alongside knowledge of the technical aspects of net zero carbon practice and policy, ideally including an understanding of Framework Definitions and other related resources.
You will have extensive knowledge of BREEAM schemes, a solid understanding of the process to monitor and report on commercial product performance, including net profitability and experience of managing the whole product life cycle from concept to end of life.
You will possess a qualification relevant with to the sector and type of work involved such as a STEM degree or equivalent.
