Developing training capability that embeds adaptable skills, knowledge and behaviours that future proof UK manufacturing. Using insight into emerging technologies and foresight into industrial development they identify, create and deliver training solutions that disrupt the underserved skills sectors. Through these future focused programmes, they look to fill existing and forthcoming skills gaps, helping to drive forward the success of UK manufacturing. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Training, Quality and Compliance Lead. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery team ensuring content is aligned to MTC‘s business and commercial strategy.

The Role

 

The Training, Quality and Compliance Lead will deliver CPD and upskill sessions to training staff on teaching, learning and assessment.

 

The role encompasses:

 

  • Support staff to prepare planning f training schedules and staff.

  • Carry out supportive and informal peer reviews of teaching, learning and assessment classroom, workshop and work place environment.

  • Support staff development plans.

  • Mentoring new staff in teaching, learning and assessing.

  • Supporting staff to prepare for inspection.

  • Trialling technology to enhance the learning experience and cascade information to the wider team.

 

The Person

 

The successful candidate for the Training, Quality and Compliance Lead role will possess the following attributes:

 

  • Holds an IQA qualification or equivalent in addition to a recognised assessors qualification such as A1, TAQA or CAVA.

  • Holds a teaching qualification.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering improvements.

  • Educational governance experience and ability to monitor performance against frameworks.

  • Operated within the Further/Higher Education sector.

  • Ofsted - has supported a successful inspection

  • Systems - detailed knowledge and understanding of the current funding rules and guidance.

  • Self starter, able to work on own initiative with the determination to succeed and passion about the subject area.

  • Able to travel throughout the UK as and when required as part of the role.

 

Please note, due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing and able to complete EDBS.
