Bystronic are now seeking an experienced Technical Support Manager to join the team at Coventry. The Technical Support Manager will lead a team of passionate technical support staff and ensure excellence customer support is maintained. You will engage with customers and grow and nurture a team.

The Technical Support Manager will lead and promote the positive culture of Bystronic and their values throughout their work. You will guide and mentor the Technical Support Team Leaders and their team members to delivery world class customer support at both at technical and best practice level.
The Technical Support Manager will assess and identify the training and capability needs of the Technical Support teams and liaise directly with customers as a point of escalation and technical advice on the products. You will work closely with the relevant departments within Bystronic such as Service, Project Management and Spares to ensure a fluid and synergistic approach to customer technical support.
The Technical Support Manager will support new project installations and machine commissioning activity alongside working with the Aftersales Manager to ensure planned preventative maintenance and agreed follow-up activities are completed to schedule.
The successful candidate for the role of Technical Support Manager will possess a proven background in leading technical support teams within an engineering or manufacturing. You will possess a relevant higher-level qualification in a technical or business-related discipline and be highly conversant with delivering and leading excellent customer experience.
The Technical Support Manager will be well-versed in working in an environment with customer satisfaction driven metrics and KPIs in addition to possessing a keen interest in the manufacturing and engineering sector which comprises Bystronic‘s customer base.
The Technical Support Manager will be familiar with business operations offering both remote and onsite servicing, maintenance and customer care of high value capital equipment and the importance of the ongoing customer relationship.
