Leading manufacturer and dealer of commercial vehicles is seeking multiple HGV Technicians to support rapidly growing teams at their four depots. There are HGV Technician roles available at Heathrow, Reading, Croydon, and Farnborough on permanent basis with excellent benefits.

Salary: £ 17.00 - £ 21.00 per hour + Paid Overtime at 1.3 x Hourly Rate + 5% Matched Pension + BUPA Private Medical + 33 Days Annual Leave

The Role

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the HGV Technicians will support effective and safe maintenance of HGVs and Commercial Vehicles working on a rotating morning and evening shift basis.

You will work as part of a team and independently to identify issues and select the appropriate course of action to resolve.

You will demonstrate a good knowledge of automotive repairs including parts selection and approximate job costings.

You will ensure a safe and clean working environment and support customer enquiries when needed.

The Person

You will possess experience as HGV Technician and ideally Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licences. An apprenticeship and qualification in vehicle maintenance is highly welcomed and the ability to support effective maintenance and repairs in a workshop environment is essential.

The HGV Technician will be able to work rotating shift patterns, be punctual and be keen to undertake further training and development.

You will work one Saturday from every three from 0800-1200 hrs and be keen to support overtime during busy periods. Overtime is paid at 1.3 x Hourly Rate in addition to an excellent suite of benefits with the role.
