With a focus on developing new technology and products, particularly for the UK & European agricultural sector, individuals with the ability to drive and influence this highly innovative engineering centre of excellence are sought to take a leading role in the advancement of electrification, smart farming, and autonomous technology.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for the Design & Development of Agricultural machinery by adhering to quality processes and procedures.
You will be involved in whole vehicle layout, concept, and development for their upcoming range of electric agricultural vehicles.
You will be involved in complete design cycles from concept stage to fully validated products.
Involved in the production of Bill of Materials, Digital Model, DFMA, assembly, installation, and service requirements.
Participate in vehicle level DFMEA, DOE, DVPR to conduct the validation of the System in the Lab and out in the field.
Ideally Bachelor/ Master‘s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with emphasis on practical work experience
1-5 years‘ experience working within the design and development of off-highway/ agricultural systems.
Exposure to vehicle integration, electrical, electronics, hydraulic pipeline routing, knowledge in sensors and wiring harness routing.
Knowledge in a range of manufacturing processes including welding, casting, forging, machining, rapid prototyping etc an advantage.
Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, DVPR & 7QC tools an advantage.
