The Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator role is wide ranging role that will be supporting the MTC Training team in all aspects of apprenticeship recruitment, stem engagement with Schools and Education partners, whilst also providing a fair and professional recruitment service. In addition, the role will support Business Development activities to grow the apprentice programme.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Lead on full arrangements of all interview and assessments throughout the calendar year
Lead on Open Evenings and attraction events at MTC Training centres.
Manage all recruitment platforms, such as National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Service
Support Employer Partners with the recruitment of external apprentices
Work closely with Group Marketing colleagues on promotional/marketing activities
Support the Business Development team with sales appointment generation and Awards nominations/events.
Support Business Development activities to grow the apprentice programme.
Support the wider MTC Training team with administrative duties, which could include production of presentations, letters, updating spreadsheets, completing apprentice framework document checks
Lead on the promotion of the apprenticeship programme within the local schools network, by attending careers events and helping the promotion of school visits, AMTC Tours and exhibition stands offsite.
Occasional evening flexibility to attend and support events.
Support STEM activities for OAS and wider MTC as well as working closely with ED&I Coordinator attending and supporting events
The successful candidate for the role of Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator will have/be:
Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data
Excellent events organisation and presentation skills
Fully competent in the use of MS applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel
A good understanding of stakeholder engagement
Passionate about apprenticeships and the engineering sector
Previous experience working with young people and/or in apprentice or STEM recruitment desirable
Customer and quality focused
Approachable and empathetic in manner
Organised and methodical approach to work, keeps to schedules
Highly articulate, highly presentable
High attention to detail
Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines and can work with limited supervision as well as part of a team.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Able to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
