Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting HLP UK Ltd with the recruitment of a Project Manager. Working flexibly between their office in Hednesford, on-site at active projects within the UK, you will provide project management and leadership support to HLP UK Ltd‘s existing projects as well as new refurbishment and store projects primarily in the retail sector.

HLP UK Ltd is a multi-disciplinary practice, specialising in measured surveys, architectural design and building surveying services. Regulated by the RICS, HLP UK Ltd have clients and projects UK wide, and their experience means they are a trusted partner to many in house property teams and industry partners who find them to be flexible and responsive to their changing needs. They are enjoying an incredibly exciting phase in the development of their portfolio of projects and are now seeking a Project Manager to join them.
HLP UK Ltd are a leading architectural services supplier to the retail sector and other commercial organisations and have a wide project portfolio that support these and other sectors. The Project Manager will lead activity for new projects and will provide effective management and development of refurbishment for new and existing projects for established customers or new clients. The Project Manager will engage daily with project stakeholders, including the client, to ensure project milestones are achieved, costs and risks are managed and delivery of innovative and market-leading refurbishment solutions is achieved.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, management of plans, and resources including outside contractors. The successful candidate will engage with all stakeholders within the business to deliver the plan and manage risk. The Project Manager will also need to have experience of pre and post contract administration and on-site management of contractors. The role is customer facing and customer relationship management will be vital to further the business reputation and develop new business.
Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing all reporting functions to the Directors and be responsible for all statutory approvals and consents within the assigned projects. The Project Manager will supply flexible support to the business and to contribute to the business as and when required across all departments and projects.
The Project Manager will ideally possess a degree level qualification or similar within a building construction discipline or similar higher-level qualification. The successful candidate should be willing to work toward chartered status with RICS or already be chartered. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible in approach and attitude with a professional understanding of customer relationship building and maintenance. Experience in construction methods and knowledge of commercial construction, and of statutory requirements is required.
Management of personal workload, prioritisation of tasks and management of teams is also a requirement. The Project Management role also requires a focus on business development, management of commercial elements both with projects and wider business improvement.
