As an Architectural Design Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the building information models (BIM) are completed accurately.
Your duties will include working on design projects throughout all RIBA stages; producing and coordinating design outputs including (but not limited to); drawings, specifications, room data sheets and visuals, alongside producing, co-ordinating and managing accurate building information models using Autodesk.
You will use the Revit package and other 3D software in accordance with company procedures, contract documents and all relevant design standards.
The Architectural Design Technician will work with special design compliances and statutory applications including BREEAM, planning, highways work, drainage connections, service upgrades, BRUKL‘s and EPC‘s. You will ensure statutory regulation and planning compliances on all projects are kept up to date and assist in the production of high-quality 3D renders for presentation purposes
The successful candidate for the position of Architectural Design Technician will possess a demonstrated knowledge of architectural design - applications from early-stage career candidates or recent graduates are also warmly welcomed.
You will be experienced in using Autodesk Revit and other 3D software and keen to make a positive impact to Darwin‘s team and their fascinating customer base.
The role requires travel to and from site and some visits to customer sites and events, therefore a valid driving licence is preferred for the role.
