Suitable for: Sensor Fusion Engineer, ADAS Engineer, Computer Vision, Depth Sensor Engineer, Vision Sensor Systems.
Role & Responsibilities
Derive & draft Spatial and Depth Sensor, Sensor-interface requirements by understanding application requirements, interacting with Vehicle Integration, Application Software teams and Tier-1s.
Derive Signal processing requirements & develop models for data pre-processing, feeding to Machine learning and Deep learning model pipelines.
Derive and propose Sensor fusion models based on suitability of sensors and its application requirements.
Work with vehicle integration and validation team closely to customize sensor specification to suit application requirements.
A background in Automotive / Off-highway functional safety / sensors.
Good working experience and knowledge on Automotive active (RADAR, LiDAR, Ultrasonic) and passive sensors (RGB Mono Vision, Stereo Vision and RGBD) plus other ADAS sensor technologies.
Good working experience in developing applications for 3D depth perception for on-road/off road vehicle segments
Good knowledge on ML driven perception and classification techniques is an added advantage
Good experience on localisation algorithms is an added advantage
Tools & Systems
Computer Vision, MATLAB, Python, Open CV, CAN, Automotive Ethernet with knowledge of Tensorflow Keras is an added advantage.
