Due to the award of new programmes, a manufacturer of precision components to the Aerospace, Defence and Energy sectors has a new vacancy for a Welder. With previous experience working in precision engineering, you will be an accomplished Welder with Orbital Welding experience and will have worked in a highly regulated sector.



Commutable from: Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester, Coventry, Rugby, Tamworth.


Salary: £ 27,000 - £ 32,000pa + overtime + additional benefits


Suitable for: Orbital Welding, Orbital Welder, Welder, Welding Technician.



The Role


Fabrication and welding various Aerospace components

Programming and operation of AMI and Orbitec welding machines

Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required

Review customer / regulatory requirements prior to commencement of work

General maintenance of equipment to ensure it is in good condition.

Ensure workload is completed in a timely manner to support customer delivery requirements.



The Person


A proven track record of Orbital Welding working with tight tolerances

Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints

Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative

Strong attention to detail

Work in a team environment and respect all teammates

Basic computer skills

Good problem-solving skills
