Are you a Marketing Assistant with a passion for social media and looking for a new challenge? Consilium Recruit are supporting a global vehicle manufacturer’s UK retail and service operations based in the Greater London area. You will design and develop social and printed media marketing content and support business promotion activities to new and existing customers.

 

Commutable from:  Heathrow, Reading, Croydon , Farnborough

Salary: £ Negotiable p.a. + Paid Overtime x 1.3 + Private Medical + Pension 

 

The Role 

The Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing the digital marketing strategy and delivery for the business.  This position involves a blend of creative and analytical tasks aimed at enhancing the brand's presence on various social media platforms.

Primary responsibilities include managing social media channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging platforms, creating, and curating engaging content, and optimizing it for search engines.

The role demands a proactive approach to foster audience interaction, increase the company's social media footprint, and drive community participation, you will create engaging content for current and prospective customers for the business including promoting the vehicles and company events.

The Marketing Assistant will use and understand metrics to report on successes and opportunities for improvement. They are also tasked with managing social media communications, scheduling content to maintain a consistent stream of interaction, and adjusting strategies based on analytics to optimize engagement.

 

The Person

The role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for digital trends, and the ability to present ideas effectively.

A degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential, along with skills in content writing, graphic design, and a strong understanding of SEO.

In terms of experience, a background in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design is advantageous, as is experience with campaign execution and a proven ability to work well within a team.

The Marketing Assistant must be detail-oriented, possess strong customer-service skills, and have the capacity for self-motivation. They should also be adept at networking, idea presentation, and possess a solid grasp of technology. The ability to proofread content and ensure it aligns with the brand's voice and goals is crucial.

The role may also involve responding to customer inquiries on social media, assisting with event promotions, and working on ad campaigns that align with the overall social media strategy. This is a role that requires a balance of creativity and analytical skills, with a constant eye on the latest digital marketing trends.
