A global manufacturer of advanced manufactured assemblies supplied to the aerospace, automotive and energy sectors has a new vacancy for an Internal Sales Manager. You will be responsible for leading and managing the Internal Sales team, ensuring sales targets are met and supporting the development of sales plans & strategies to continue business growth.


Commutable from: Leicester, Hinckley, Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Loughborough, Coalville, Nottingham 

Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 60,000 p.a. + pension 

Suitable For: Inside Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Controller.


The Role

Manage day to day activities within the Sales Office.
Manage the Internal Sales Team in coordination with other key stakeholders, to achieve business objectives. 
Lead and mentor the team to develop individuals and ensure a full departmental succession plan supporting the overall business.
Manage and maintain a skills matrix, Identifying key skills requirements and that of the team members to enable them to perform effectively and efficiently.
Identify and implement departmental and business continuous improvement.
Develop sales plans and strategies by customer and product group to effectively grow the business.
Focus on customer satisfaction, inspire and follow up with supply chain and quality improvement plans
Negotiate with customers at all levels to win business and improve margins.
Monitoring and evaluating the activities and products of the competition.
Handling directly certain key accounts, sharing/supporting others with Divisional sales team.
Worldwide sales territory scope for a diversified product range.
Travelling to customers and attending trade shows where required and appropriate. 
Ensure that all departmental reporting requirements are completed in an accurate & timely manner, with a focus on streamlining processes.


The Person

Natural leader with the ability to effectively lead, coach and engage with people internally and externally.
Professional approach with the ability to network and develop effective working relationships.
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
Experience within Commercial Sales is essential.
Calm and methodical, with the ability to make decisions
Excellent negotiator.
Experience of working in a high pressure and fast paced environment (automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, production, etc).
Working knowledge of financial principles.
Committed, passionate, driven, pro-active, smart and tenacious.
