Contract Integration Engineers - EV Test & Systems

This cutting-edge Test, R&D and Certification company focused on developing bespoke, sustainable electrification solutions to some of the leading and most innovative companies. As part of a larger global organisation they are increasing their presence in the UK and have won several new projects

Sector spread across Automotive sub-systems, battery systems and EV integration. Providing turnkey solution ranging from concept, design and validation, through to final production capability and certification.

They now seek a number of contract staff to support a new EV project within a manufacturer and developer of EV's.

Location: Midlands, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire

Salary: £ Contract rates

Term: 6 Months with possible extensions possible

The Role

Working within the systems team you will be required to integrate, test and validate all individual components of a HV traction system in the production facility and prepare the system to be assembled for final End of Line system and characterisation testing.

You will be required to follow a comprehensive DVP for each component and system, report faults that are flagged during testing and route cause faults and assist the system owners with fixes.

You will be required to use Jira for all Test Reporting and bug reporting and ensure it is kept up to date and accurate.

General areas that need to be tested will include, Harnesses, Power Electronics, CAN Networks, Software functionality and Mechanical build.

The Person

You will be working within complex EV systems in build, test and integration and have skills and experience within the following:

Vector Solutions i.e. CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe
UDS
CAN Networks
Harness Schematics
Harness Testing
JIRA
