Quality Inspector

A Warwickshire based manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and measuring precision-engineered components to ensure they meet aerospace standards and customer specifications.

Key duties include:

• Performing dimensional inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other tools.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Conducting visual inspections for surface defects, finish quality, and part integrity.
• Documenting inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Proven experience in quality inspection within aerospace or precision engineering.
• Strong understanding of measurement techniques and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
